Too Far Down is the third book in Mary Connealy’s Cimarron Legacy series. In this book, readers follow the story of Cole Boden, the eldest of the Boden children. 

Cole finds himself in a position many of us face—trying to decide where he truly belongs. He loves his family and the ranch he was raised on, but he also loves running his own business and the feeling of success he gets from being on his own. When his mother’s family appears connected to the recent attacks on the Boden ranch, Cole must finally figure out who he wants to be. 

In the meantime, he’s also facing another big decision. He finds himself fighting off an attraction to his longtime friend and neighbor, Melanie Blake. 

Like all of Connealy’s books, this one is well written and has elements of action, romance, and comedy. This one felt a little rushed to me, but it was a great read! The three books together would make a great Christmas gift!
