I always knew that I wanted to be able to stay home with my kids.  When my husband, Ryan, and I first got married back in 1996, my priority was learning to live on one income so that, when we did have children, I would be able to stay home with them.

Though I have always been very achievement oriented, when the economy began to crash in 2008, I was very comfortable being a stay-at-home, home-schooling Mom of three.  I knew with absolute certainty that I did not want to have to go back to work.  So, my husband and I made a mutual decision that I would begin building a business with a company that I had already become a distributor for.  I loved the company and had already shared it with friends and family, though I had no intention of building a business when I got started–I just loved the service my company provided and it helped me be the person I wanted to be.

Even though I loved my company’s product and felt comfortable sharing it, I did a lot of research into the Network Marketing profession.  On the one hand, 95% of people who begin in network marketing fail–usually within the first year.  On the other hand, 95% of people who stick with it for 10 years succeed beyond their wildest dreams!  As I sifted through all the information, the light came on for me–in network marketing there is an amazing opportunity to build a business with very little financial risk, a built in support system, and an amazing product.  The only thing limiting my potential was me.  I was sold!

As I have built my business over the past few years, our family has faced some huge challenges, like my husband being out of work for 18 months, moving across the country away from both of our families, and even losing our home.  But, as I watched my business grow, even in the midst of these challenges, I have become more and more convinced that network marketing is absolutely the best way for moms to create financial freedom AND be able to be present in their homes.

The key is BALANCE–balance between your business and family.  And balance begins with a clear sense of purpose.  My goal is to help every mom who is ready and willing to find that balance to move forward towards fulfilling her own purpose.  In creating financial freedom through network marketing, you will find that you are able to spend more time with your family.  And, you will find that dreams you lost a long time ago find their way back into your life as you begin to live with purpose.
