COVID-19 Help from a Homeschool Mom!

I know lots of families are experiencing anxiety right now. I know that I have never seen anything like this in my lifetime. It’s scary–grocery store shelves are empty, schools are closing, people are worried about losing their jobs, and the list goes on.

Instead of giving in to the anxiety that threatens to overwhelm us, I encourage you to have hope. This, too, shall pass!

In the meantime, I wanted to share a resource that I created a few years back for my kids. The IDEA Skills Workshop was meant to be a 12 week program for my kids to complete over the summer to keep their minds sharp in a fun way. I decided to share this resource for FREE, so, if you are looking for something to keep your kids busy and engaged in learning while they are out of school, I encourage you to check this out.

IDEA stands for Invention, Discovery, Exploration, and Adventure. Each of the 12 weeks includes a themed IDEA project, math practice (levels 1st grade through Algebra II), writing practice, a Reading BINGO, Bible, and art. IDEA was designed for kids from 1st-12th grade, so there are multiple levels for each activity.

There’s even a Canvas app, so students can complete the projects on their tablets or phones. 🙂
