Hook, Line, and Sinker

Hook, Line, and Sinker by Susan May Warren is a really fun, quick read.  In this Deep Haven novel, the two main characters, Ross Springer and Abigail Cushman, struggle to overcome their misconceptions about themselves and each other.

Both characters attend a Christian college and lead ministries.  They enter a fishing contest to raise money to support their groups.  Ross must win in order to save his ministry.  Abigail just wants to beat him.  Throughout the competition, these two are forced to confront their fears and their shared past, ultimately finding love and forgiveness.

The story is realistic and has moments of both humor and introspection that make it a great read.  Not only will it entertain you for an hour or two, but it will give you something to think about, as well.
