Smitten

When four single ladies in a small Vermont town called Smitten decide to turn their town into a romantic destination, romance is bound to happen!  The mill in Smitten closes down, and the small town is threatened with extinction.  But four friends decide to do everything they can to keep their town alive.

In four short stories, one based on each of the four main characters, the authors explore the trials and tribulations of transforming the town into a honeymoon paradise, while following each of the characters on her own journey to find love.

I like that the book also focuses on each character’s relationship to God and show how her relationship with Him impacts her relationship with her future spouse.  An interesting twist on this novel is that the four characters are based loosely on the four authors, who are real-life friends.  This is an entertaining read.
