I haven’t reviewed a Becky Wade novel since back in 2012, when I reviewed her first novel, My Stubborn Heart. However, I have been busy reading Becky’s Bradford Sisters Series, which is about three very different sisters who navigate life together. You can find excerpts from the first two books on Becky’s site.

Falling for You is Willow’s story. We first meet beautiful Willow, who is the oldest of the three sisters, in her dad’s story, Then Came You. In True to You, readers get to know Willow’s younger sister Nora. Willow, a famous model, is temporarily home in Merryweather managing the family’s inn (the Inn at Bradfordwood).

Meanwhile, Charlotte, the niece of Willow’s ex-boyfriend, has stumbled upon a family secret–the disappearance of her great aunt Josephine. Charlotte, who idolizes Willow, decides that the only person she will share her secret with is Willow. Soon, despite the anomosity she still feels toward her ex, Corbin, Willow finds herself neck deep in an investigation into the disappearance of Charlotte’s aunt, an investigation that forces her to work with Corbin, a former NFL quarterback with an injury that has put him out of the game.

Both Willow and Corbin are fighting their own inner battles, but they find themselves drawn to each other once again. As they help solve the mystery of Josephine’s disappearance, they also must face the heartbreak of their past.

I really enjoyed this latest book in the Bradford Sisters’ series. The characters come to life on the page as Wade unveils the layers of their relationship and their own inner struggles. I love the emphasis on faith in this novel. As the characters struggle to deal with situations in their own power, they learn the joy of trusting in God. I highly recommend this series!
