I’m really excited that my copies of Margie Aliprandi’s new book, Best Worst First: 75 Network Marketing Experts on Everything You Need to Know to Build the Business of Your Dreams, finally arrived! This is an amazing, inspiring book filled with insight from the network marketing industry’s top leaders. I’m still on the A’s (the book is organized in alphabetical order), but my goal is to read a little each evening before I fall asleep. What I’ve found so far is that I’m inspired with new I Am statements and, what’s even better, is that I’ve been creating a ‘resume’ for my ideal business partner.
Why is this so important? Well…for a lot of reasons, actually. First, it gives me a goal to look forward to–my ideal business partner is also who I want to become! Second, it helps me to focus on who I’m looking for as I share my business. Third, we know that we become more like the people we spend time with. So, if I’m actively looking for people like this and spending time with them, I’ll be closer to becoming my ideal self, as well!
So, what do my ideal business partners look like? First, they are successful in their current positions because they work hard and never give up. They do their best–no matter what! They are well-liked and well-connected because they are team players who are generous and make a habit of being nice. They have a dream they are passionate about–they have a strong desire to help people and make the world a better place. They are clear on their purpose! They understand the importance of God and family and know how to prioritize accordingly. They are fun and energetic. They are leaders.
