The House on Foster Hill, by Jaime Jo Wright, captured my attention from the start. Kaine Prescott has decided to get a fresh start in her grandfather’s Wisconsin hometown. She buys a house sight unseen, and it turns out to be connected to her great-great grandmother.

When she arrives at the spooky old house, Kaine uncovers a mystery about her great-great grandmother and, in the process of solving it, also learns the truth about her own tragic past.

In a story that weaves back and forth from present to past, Wright weaves a captivating story of loss and hope, filled with suspense and an interesting glimpse into the past.

If you’re looking for a suspenseful mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat, I recommend The House on Foster Hill.
