Out of the Ordinary

With Christmas less than a week away, I thought this would be a great time to share one of my favorite authors with you—Jen Turano. Out of the Ordinary is the second book in her Apart from the Crowd series (read about the first book here), which explores the far from ordinary lives of a group of women known as the Wallflowers. These are women who, for a variety of reasons, are not among the popular set, so they spend their time at social events standing along the walls. 

Out of the Ordinary follows the love story of Gertrude Cadwalader and Harrison Sinclair. Both know for their rather outlandish attire and their kind hearts, these two are thrown together when Gertrude is caught attempting to return some items that caught the eye of her eccentric employer. 

Like all of Turano’s books, this one will make you laugh along with the characters’ adventures as they uncover more than one mystery…and find each other in the process.
